On June 14, the Haesol Library in Paju came alive with entrepreneurial energy as middle and high school students gathered to present their startup ideas in a Mock Investment Pitch, the capstone event of the first part of the Practice Startup Experience Program. Organized by KoreaPEN in collaboration with the Paju Office of Education, this event offered young innovators the chance to step into the shoes of real-world entrepreneurs.
On May 9, 2025, Seoul Foreign School (SFS) students in the School-Wide Extracurricular Program - Virtual Entrepreneurship Program (VEP) demonstrated their entrepreneurial talents at the PEN Worldwide Asia Business Meetup 2025.
Co-hosted by PEN Worldwide, KoreaPEN, ChinaPEN, and VCI Indonesia, this dynamic virtual event connected aspiring young entrepreneurs from around the globe.
Exciting things are happening in Paju! The Paju Dream Sharing School 2.0: Practice Startup program is now underway, giving local teenagers a chance to step into the world of entrepreneurship—hands-on and for real.
Thanks to the global Practice Enterprise network, powered by PEN Worldwide, students become co-founders of their own simulated startups. From brainstorming business ideas to running operations, pitching to investors, and even planning an exit strategy, they get to experience the full startup journey in a fun, supportive environment.
At the 2025 Youth Business Summit in NYC, Echo Studio impressed with a dynamic booth, strong branding, and hands-on sales—generating $43,680 in revenue from 85 visitors. Led by Shiwoo Hur, Claire Hwang, and Barron Yoon, the team combined marketing savvy, digital outreach, and real-world business practice. Beyond sales, they explored global partnerships, refined their business concept, and gained valuable feedback during a visit to NYU’s Entrepreneurial Center—solidifying their vision to transition from Practice Enterprise to real startup.
